68th Entry 50th Pass-out
Anniversary Reunion
April 23rd/24th/25th
2004
Dear
Entry Member,
The time has once again arrived to start thinking of our next reunion. I am getting things together, having visited the hotel to get some prices, and now I can let everyone know what is going to happen.
The
cost will be £260.00 per couple and £130.00 for a single member to include
dinner on Friday, breakfast, dinner/dance on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday.
I think that this price is excellent and shows only a 4% increase which
even for us golden oldies is very good value.
The
programme for the weekend will be the same format as the previous reunion, which
everyone appeared to enjoy. Tony
Whiting has again agreed to organise golf for those that way inclined; the same
disco has been booked, and again we shall have a knife and fork buffet again on
the Saturday evening. Ken Smith has
once more offered to set up the display of photographs and memorabilia so if any
of you still have photos or bits from Halton he will be pleased to receive them.
They will of coarse be returned.
Kens address is:- 2 Chestnut Path, Canewdon, Essex, SS4 3QQ
Already
10 people have sent money to me towards the cost of the weekend, so I am now
looking for commitment from the rest of you.
We are restricted to a maximum of 90 people to sit down for the
evening meal (last time we had 73) so come on and let me have your deposits of
£25.00. I am quite willing to take
drip feeds of money to ease the pain, but would
like the whole amount for the weekend by October 2003.
I
attach a copy of the weekends programme for you to peruse and show to your good
ladies.
Looking
forward to hearing from you.
Cheers,
Mike Williams.
I
will be playing golf YES/NO
